Consultation/Meet and Greet fee for new clients is $35. This meeting allows for us to get to know each other and learn more about your pet's individual needs and routines.

Live-in Pet Sitting (Including Overnight Care)
Have you ever wanted to have a professional live-in pet nanny and a housesitter all rolled into one? Well, that is exactly what you will receive! This is our most requested service. Our live-in pet sitting option includes care during the day and overnight. Pets are not left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. This is as close to your pets having you home as you could possibly get. Your pets can avoid the stress involved with boarding and instead receive high-quality care in the comfort of their own home. Not only will your pets be well cared for, but your home will be as well. Mail and package retrieval, trash management, blind rotation, and plant watering are all included with this service.

Daycare Visit
Care is provided from 9:30am-9:30pm. Pets are not left alone longer than 4-6 hours at a time. This service includes both breakfast feeding and dinnertime feeding, as well as potty breaks throughout the day. Perfect for daytrips or long work days.

60 Minute Drop-in Visits
Perfect for puppies or kittens who need extra attention, seniors, or shy pets who need extra time to feel comfortable with a sitter. Visits are tailored to your individual needs and can include plant watering, feeding, walks, playtime with toys, medication administration, mail retrieval, and bringing in/out trash cans.

Farm/Homestead Care
Individualized care for your farm or homestead. Care can include but is not limited to: feeding, mucking out stalls, cleaning pens, egg gathering, and refilling water.
Hourly Rate:
$85 for the first hour. $35 per additional hour
Constant Care
Does your pet suffer from separation anxiety? Or do they have medical needs that require them to not be left unattended? This service is perfect for those instances. Great for when you need to run errands, go out on a date, or even go on a day trip but don't want to leave your pet alone at home during the day.

(Two-hour minimum required for this service. No additional charge after seven hours)
Constant Care (24/hr)
Round-the-clock care. Pets receive constant supervision, companionship, and care in your home. They are never left unattended.

Payment Polices and Terms of Service
Key pickup/drop-off fee is $35. Mileage fee for services 20 miles+ from 27617 is +$15/night. Holiday and puppy care services are +$20/night. An additional charge will be added to services surrounding the following holidays and events: New Year's,

A 50% non-refundable booking confirmation fee (50% of the total bill) is required at the time of booking in order to reserve dates for live-in pet sitting/overnights, 24/hr constant care, and daycare visits. The remaining balance is due the day prior to the start of the booking. In the event of a cancellation, the non-refundable confirmation fee can be be applied to a future booking of equal or greater value within 90 days of the cancellation date. Payment for constant care visits is due 24 hours prior to the first date of service. Cancellation for constant care visits with less than a day's notice before the start of services will result in you being billed 50% of the total cost of the invoice and the other 50% will be refunded.
For live-in pet sitting/overnights, an extended care fee will apply if the sitter's required departure time on the final day of the stay is after 2pm. The additional amount is 50% of the nightly rate.
An additional service fee may apply to clientele located outside of the typical service range.

All pets being serviced must be on flea/tick preventive and up to date on all vaccinations.
Pet Care by Candace is not responsible for other persons in your home prior to, during, or after our services have been rendered. Please disclose to us anyone who may have access to the home during our service period. This includes other services workers such as landscapers, lawnmowers, painters, and housecleaners as well as other family members and friends. Please note that the presence of others on the property while Pet Care by Candace is providing service voids our insurance and we will not be held responsible for the loss, injury, or death of your pets, or any damage to your home or theft.
